Michael has been a CPA since 2001, and a registered Tax Company Auditor since 2008. Year joined Booth Partners: 2000 Personal details and interests: Michael was born in Sydney, but has lived in Wollongong and Kiama for the past 35 years. Michael has been actively involved in the Little Athletics Kiama for a number of years, and is the current Treasurer. Michael enjoys playing soccer, running, kayaking and spending time with his family and their sporting and social activities. |

Year joined Booth Partners: July 2010 Personal details and interests: Adrian was born in the Shoalhaven and previously worked as a grocery manager at Woolworths in Nowra before leaving to pursue an accounting career. Adrian also was employed by JPA Business Advisors for 5 years before he joined Booths. Adrian is married to Megan and they have a son Odin. Specialisations: Auditing and Accounting with the emphasis on the Licensed Club Industry, charities and other not-for-profit organisations, Aboriginal organisations and medium to large businesses . She has a special interest in the not-for-profit sector including charities and clubs, and assists them in many facets of their business. Tamara Mitchell
Position: Accountant Email address: tmitchell@boothco.com.au Training: Certificate IV in Financial Services (Accounting) at TAFE NSW. Specialisations: Financial Reporting and analysis for not-for-profit organisations including registered clubs. Tamara spends a lot of time working with a local community council, which involves assisting in all aspects of their financial accounting needs and reporting to government bodies. She also provides staff training for clients and their employees in all aspects of accounting and bookkeeping procedures. Year joined Booth Partners: 2006 Personal details and interests: Tamara began her Accounting career in 2002, working full time and studying nights and weekends. She graduated the top of her class receiving the Don Mitchell & Co. Top Student Award for her achievements. Kerry-anne Norman

Member of Institute of Chartered Accounting, MYOB Certified Consultant. Specialisations: Kerry-anne has extensive experience in small to medium business compliance and taxation issues. Some of this experience was gained whilst working for a Melbourne-based accounting firm prior to joining Booth Partners. Since moving to the Shoalhaven Kerry-anne has continued to specialise in taxation matters including GST, capital gains tax, tax planning and superannuation. As a MYOB consultant Kerry-anne also has an in depth knowledge of all MYOB accounting software which enables her to assist clients with new setups, customising and problem solving. Year joined Booth Partners: 2003 Personal details and interests: Kerry-anne moved to the Shoalhaven from Melbourne in 2003. She is married with a young daughter and enjoys spending time with her family. They particularly enjoy boating, camping and holidaying together. |

Year joined Booth Partners: 2007 Personal details and interests: Joanne spent the first 12 years of my working career as a nurse working at many of the large Sydney hospitals. After completing her degree she moved to the Jervis Bay area in 2007 to work in Nowra with Booth Partners. Joanne enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter going walking, swimming, fishing, canoeing and on the water. She also enjoys reading and watching the AFL. |

Peter McGrath

He also gained commercial experience at a large roofing contractor in Sydney Specialisations: General taxation compliance, accounting and business services to small to medium enterprises including preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts and companies. Particularly interested in preparing management reports, benchmarking, improving business performance, business valuations and insolvency. He was involved with 1st Illaroo Scout Group for a number of years as a parent helper/leader. He has a keen association with Shoalhaven Rowing Club as a masters competitor and committee member. Doris James
Position: Partner Email address: djames@boothco.com.au Training: Diploma in Accounting; Master of Commerce (Professional Accounting) from University of New England Specialisations: Prior to moving to the Shoalhaven, Doris worked as a Tax Assessor and Auditor in the Sydney Tax Office gaining extensive experience in various taxation specialties over a 15-year period. She has continued to specialise in taxation matters with a strong emphasis on CGT, GST, business concessions, planning and superannuation. Doris joined Booth Partners more than 20 years ago, principally dealing with small to medium sized business clients over a broad range of industries. She has extensive experience in tax planning, business and management consulting together with compliance issues. Year joined Booth Partners: 1988 Personal details and interests: Doris grew up in Sydney and moved to the Shoalhaven with her husband and young family in 1988. She is married with three, now adult children. Living on the coast has provided a great opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and in winter, the snowfields are still relatively close by. Interests include travel, skiing and fitness. Doris has been heavily involved in a number of community projects including the Heads Youth Park and local school fund-raising, and supports a number of Shoalhaven sporting groups. |
